If you follow me you will know that I like black & white photography. I feel for the documentary style I shoot in the black & white just seems to 'look right' a lot of the time. However I do love colour just as much when an image is made for it...
Obviously bouquet shots look great in colour & Kirsty's is still one of my favourite! I can't say I have ever put any black & white bouquet shots out there. Maybe I have, but anyway, they should be in colour. I like this photo because it looks like it should be on Pinterest (it is so hover over the photo & pin it people). I wasn't much of a 'pinner' until recently but I am starting to get to grips with it & this photo looks like it was made for all your 'wedding ideas' board if I say so myself :)
I now process all my colour images to look the way colour used to look when people were shooting film (u know, those old cameras that hipsters use which don't take SD cards). Good colour film produces beautiful colour that a lot of digital image sensors just can't replicate. We can however try & emulate the look with post processing techniques & get almost as good as the real thing.
This is processed with a film preset that enhances the greens & softens the pastel tones a little. I think it works, but what do you think? Is this a beautiful bouquet?
